The American Legion Riders was established in 1993 as a Post level activity at Garden City American Post 396 in Michigan. The Legion Riders program was established first in Maryland at Edwin Adams Post 293 in Waldorf, Maryland. The program took root and spread to various other Posts across Maryland. In 2007, the National Executive Committee approved Resolution 35 establishing the Legion Riders as a national program to be administered by Departments and Posts. The American Legion Rider’s program currently exist at Posts that span across at least 48 States with more than 700 members nationally.

Chapter 164 meets at 7PM every 4th Friday of the month at the American Legion Post 164 Katy, 22125 Kingsland Blvd. Katy 77450.
Throughout the year there are many individual events going on, so please check the schedule below and come and join us, we would be delighted to see you! If you click on an event, it will expand and show you further details.
We also meet at the Elks Lodge on the first Saturday of every month 7 - 10 AM for Breakfast with a Veteran - a $10 all-you-can-eat home-cooked breakfast organized by the Post, the Auxiliary and the Elks where members of the public and their families are very welcome.
